so let me do this again good morning plumber Panthers here we find ourselves together one more time to remind ourselves of important items to learn about a new college and also to celebrate accomplishment right so let's begin this before I start I hand it off to our student count I would like to encourage everyone to buy our yearbook we are selling your books this is going to be an outstanding your book this year one like none before because of the situation that we have experience with covid-19 and the closing of schools that having to do virtual learning so I encourage everyone to purchase a yearbook this year they're on sale I have given the teachers the flyer and I have also posted it on schoology and on ClassDojo having chest out you can cancel please stand place your right hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God divisible with liberty and justice for all let's do the nobody promised please put your pinkies up show your pinky stop please I promise to make plumber a bully free zone I am proud of who I am I will stand up for someone else I am not a bully thank you this week's message for Miss Gomez is books how kids explore the world they are the real ambassadors gently put this on your calendar let's continue to recognize the great contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders like Gene Luen Yang who is an author of comics and graphic novels no school next Monday May 31st is Memorial Day on this day we remember all of those who served in the military Terry and lost their lives protecting us thank you to them and to those who continue to serve in the armed forces thank you to those who were able to attend the virtual Art Gallery last Friday special thanks to miss Gomez and mrs. Santiago go to college Miss College fight about Syracuse University was made by Jose brightness in 6th grade Syracuse University was established in March 24th 1870 location of Syracuse University is New York the motto is knowledge crowns those who seek her one of the famous alumni is our President Joe Biden to go to Syracuse University it's $73,069 which food and housing some Majors for this University our communication business management marketing and Visual and Performing Arts that was another amazing University for you to consider attending in the future and of course if you want to go to college you must be an outstanding reader because you will have a lot of reading to do and so with that let's do it Accelerated Reader announcement up to Friday we were up to 43612000 and a little bit more words read remember our challenge was to get you a hundred and fifty million but less reach to as many words as we can read before the end of the school year now I'm very proud to announce our latest word millionaire and that is Jeanette Yay good job well done and for RSD mathematician we are doing amazingly well we have completed 690-2200 35 puzzles and I think we are on our way to completing a million before the end of the school year what do you think former Panthers can we do this no I would like to recognize the class with the highest average number of possible for last week was Miss Green's class in Room 5 they had an average of 77 minutes and 56 puzzles now remember boys and girls that send average right so if you get everyone in your class to be doing ST Math daily you can get your average raised when you work as a team so go ahead and encourage your friends to do their ST math puzzle than complete their ST Math minutes and with that we conclude our Tuesday assembly We Wish You a super great week student council would you like to say I wish everyone a super grade week hello have a great week, Panthers bye have a great learning have a great week of learning everyone
