School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee

You are encouraged to attend and participate in our School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee (SSC and ELAC).

The SSC has two primary functions: 1) Developing, revising, and adopting the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), a blueprint to improve academic performance of all students, and 2) Ensuring that the school meets all federal parental involvement mandates.

The ELAC provides written recommendations to the SSC regarding programs and services for English learner students. The committee advises on the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement in relation to the English Learner Master Plan. It assists in the development of the school's language census, the assessment of achievement gaps of the EL student population, and the development and evaluation of the school's program for EL students.
